What to expect on tryout day
- Arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
- Warm-up and a technical session, grouped by age.
- Small-sided games and a scrimmage, so coaches see you in real game moments.
- Meet the coaches. Parents are welcome to ask questions.
- Hear back from us about next steps.
Bring: cleats, shin guards, water, and a light and a dark shirt.

No. Registration is free.
What does the season cost?
$535, the same as a regular Gunners season, because we play in the Boston Bolts RAL league.
Will my daughter still be a Gunner?
Yes. Teams play in the Bolts league as the Gunners, under the Bolts name. Play high level and stay a Gunner.
Do I need to be on a club team now?
No. New players are welcome.
What league will teams play in?
The Regional Academy League (RAL). It's a standards-based, team-vs-team league with "affordable fees, minimal travel" (regionalacademyleague.com).
Where and when will teams train and play?
We share training locations, nights and season dates with families after tryouts.
Will this help with college soccer?
Older players get exposure opportunities in front of college coaches. No one can honestly promise a roster spot or scholarship, and we won't.
What if the weather is bad?
If weather affects the tryout, we will contact every registered family directly.
